Some F*cken A**hole stole my Roundels + Tire Caps

So I go to CSM (College of San Mateo) and usually its a pretty good enviornment but today when I got out of class I found my roundels and 2 tire caps to be missing. LIKE WTF?? WHO JACKS TIRE CAPS? So I guess it produced the error of FLAT TIRE or Tire Pressure loss?

When I started my car it did not produce an error untill 4-5 miles later when I NOTICED the caps were missing.

I'm not mad about the roundels...as I can get CARBON FIBER ones now
AND I have the excuse to tell my parents that my 325i badge CAN potentially be jacked. SO NOW I'm allowed to do a debadge!!

SO IF YOUR READING THIS, those people who jacked it. YOU DID ME A HUGE FAVOR + YOU HAVE NO LIFE (jacking tire caps) WTF? lol. + 10 dollar roundels? GJ?

I was mad at first, but now I'm looking positively at this, as I can now get a debadge + get carbon fiber roundels.

Anyone have any suggestions on the tire pressure though? I doubt I have a flat but just tire pressures off...and No other damages were found...so I guess I got lucky.

DAMN ASSHOLES!@!!@!@!!@@

My tires seem as sturdy as ever though. I don't feel any air leakage or anything like that. It probably leaked some air when I went on the freeway or when I was pushing my car (because I was mad).

I guess I'll go to a gas station.

You won't feel a difference if they're deflated since they're RFT's. I had a flat and the sensors picked it up, but I didn't feel a difference. FWIW, someone took my passenger side caps too. Sucks. That's just booty.

you need permission from your parents to debadge your car?

unfortunately, yes. They let me do all other mods but want me to keep the badge

and i got my car error fixed. It wasn't a flat, just some air let loose. Basically just had to fill up some air then reset the error.

Could the reason of your parents' not letting you debadge mean that it will be hard for resale? I think the next buyer would want to have the badge regarding what model it is.

Just get a new badge when it comes time to sell the car, they are like 25-30 dollars at most from the dealer.

Just make some notes so you know exactly where the badge is supposed to go when you replace it.

That makes a lot more sense. I wouldn't look positively at having the Roundels removed from my vehicle, because those should last 15+ years. I've never seen a BMW with them missing.

Did they scratch any of your hood or trunk lid when they stole your roundels?

jeeze. you guys didn't read my post. I said I'm looking positively at this issue because now I can replace my Roundels with Carbon Fiber ones, instead of replacing it with the regular ones. NEW MOD for me!

Plus...this car isn't going to for sale EVER. I'm paying my parents off (to you people who think I'm just another rich kid, spoiled, etc).

Do you guys even know how mcuh a simple re-badge costs?...lol...come on.

Way to see the silver lining.

People will steal any and absolutely everything. People will regularly steal things with no actual value, only because you happen to have it and they don't. I don't think we should go about the day in fear of everyone you meet trying to steal from you because that will just leave you alone and paranoid, but nothing really suprises me anymore with theft.

I can understand shiny objects off of expensive cars though it sounds like it's more just hatin' if it happened at a college. There's probably some punk ass kid bragging about how he boosted the roundels he's stuck in the corkboard on his dormroom, right next to the keg caps from thier 'awesome' keg party and below a picture of his high school varsity basketball picture, and above mom's new address. I'm sure his girlfriend pretended to be mildly impressed too 8)

Bah, I wouldn't sweat it anyway, give it 2 weeks and you'll see an Accord or Civic bombing around with a Fart can muffler and some dipshit with his hat on sideways PROUDLY displaying your roundels.

I've seen the carbon roundels and they look pretty cool.

Check your tires though, they don't leak air because you're pushing it.

Its unfortunate that people still do this. Once upon a time when I was ~17/18 I had a 97' Honda Prelude type-sh ...(part ricer...inconspicuously so) parked at a movie theater, came out only to find my rear plate red-light camera deflector...thing, had been stolen...along with some bulbs in front turn signals and something else, I don't recall. I was rather irritated about that...but like you quickly got over it, they could have done much more and I was thankful they only took what they did.

Its sad to hear this and makes me fear for my cars when I let them be. I am still relatively young and am able to afford nice things, despite being good at heart and not feeling this makes me better than anyone...I still feel that others may think so, not having known me.

I wish people would respect others' property, but jealousy is rampant in this society where large gaps in income are very obvious. Well...i'm sorry to hear yet another person had to endure this. They may just be asthetic and cheap...but someone touched your baby with bad intentions...disgust/hate...whatever you'd like to call it and stole from you, regardless of what it is that has been stolen it is disturbing.

Hopefully this will be the last time it happens to you.

You have to ask for permission to debadge? My parents couldn't care less about what I do with my car.

haha, no man. But I DO have access to a handicap sign though.

I just wish I can catch that fool so I can smack him up the head with a pole. (jk...but I would like to)
It's probably a jealous, immautre idiot at my school. There are about 10+ E90's at my school...only in which me and my friend has modded ones.

I just hope none of this happens to any of you. It didn't really upset me as they did nothing else to my car...but I still can't believe how stupid people in this world are.

CF roundels have been ordered for 20 bucks on ebay!

Good that you see that theft from a positive side. I bet you wouldn't be quite as happy if that happened to you:
