Birthdays? Hate Them or Love Them?

So, tomorrow is my birthday and I am feeling pretty down. I am entering my late twenties and have not accomplished much because of the many problems I have had.

Do all people in their twenties not look forward to their birthdays since they are getting closer to 30 at which point it is not socially acceptable to act like a "kid' so to speak. I just feel as if 30 is a cut off point. Basically, at that point, if you havent accomplished much and / or established yourself, it becomes seemingly pathetic to society.

Meh. I don't care for birthdays. Just makes me realize that I'm a little closer to dying.

Mine too.

I don't care one way or another about my b-day. Gonna be 33, not sure where the time went.

You still have plenty of time for accomplishments. Don't know what you mean by 'many problems I have had' and I'm not asking, but I do know that you need to own your problems, deal with them, beat them and move along.

Happy B-Day, its time to kick lifes ass.

Don't worry about it. Feel blessed that you aren't on the streets starving to death, or that youre not 16, tied up and shot in the back of the head because you have different values.

Happy birthday, enjoy life, tomorrow's never guaranteed.

now when it comes down to other peoples b-days its party time and i go all out, therefore HAPPY BIRTHDAY

What's wrong with approaching 30? My birthday is in a couple months and I can't wait. I feel like it's the one day I can really get away with anything.

The more birthdays you have, the longer you live.

Look forward to them. Who cares what you have done or havent. Its your life
