fuel economy drop with turbo tuner.
Ive had it for like 5 days and the fuel aconomy has dipped fast.Granted I have been driving it hard but it went from 19.9 to 19.3 already. It seems like it might get worse. What is everyone else getting.Im curious as to what it will get driving like a civilized human being.Oh well, its very, very fun though.

well if your flooring it since you got it that is the reason...but .5 mile difference is nothing to be worried about... specially if you are really flooring it a lot.

Last tank of gas I drove my stock 2007 335i the exact same way as my 1995 540i (w/ dinan chip). The daily route I take is 15% city 85% hwy. So for over 300mi, I get exactly 1 extra mile per gallon 23mpg w/ 335i vs 22mpg w/ 540i. After some break-in time the fuel economy may improve slightly.

.3, .5, .8....alles machts nichts (doesn't matter). Just enjoy the ride.

To run more boost, you need to use more fuel. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

That's while cruising, not WOT. There is no extra boost when the car is in vac.

As stated above: "The procede/xede can lean the car out during part throttle for slightly better gas mileage." FI cars are usualy tuned rich form the factory for an extra margin of safety, so that's an easy place to look for performance. The fringe benefit is that this also improves fuel efficiency.
