Unfortunately, we have not received a sport order for the F10 5ER. Historically speaking all Eisenmann sport systems maintain a decibel level equal to or slightly higher than stock. The main difference with the sport is tonality. If you are planning on ending the modification at the rear muffler then I think the race will be a good option. The F10 has so much sound deadening and not to mention the primary cat/down pipe restriction that the race rear muffler is not a bad standalone option. It is always hard to justify a decision based on video clips, but below are clips of sport and race rear muffler:

Sport

Race

Thanks Andrew for the reply.
Since I dont know any thing about exhaust modification,
let me ask you a question. What is cat/down pipe? I really dont
know anything about exhaust. I just want my car sound sporty.
I did not get your point. You mean i can just change the muffler
only without pipe? You look like expert on exhaust and have
lots of knowledge. Your answer will be greatful to me thanks!
By the way I will go with the race version.
Sounds much better!

My overall point is that if you only plan on modifying the rear muffler than a race might not be a bad option. Give me a call or shoot email if you have more detailed questions.

I ordered the exhaust in sport as I think the race will be way too loud. I found some sick videos of Eisenmann exhausts on YouTube and the race sounded like a definite cop magnet. I want to be able to hear my radio. Let me know what you decide and post pics.

I didnt see too many e-sport exhaust on F10 yet. Since you ordered the sport, let me know how is the sound like.
By the way, the video clip you put on, was the M5. I think the guy put x pipe for the meiserschaft and he also put the RPI intake. Also that car is V10. The F10 535 is V6and with out the intake, definitely it will sound quite than that M5. Its just my opinion. One of my friend just changed only intake with out exhaust, still makes
really big sound. If I m going to change the exhaust, I dont want the similar sound with the stock exhaust. When you put yours, please let me know how is the sound compare with the stock one. If you can tell me the ratio 1-10. Thanks.

I will record a video clip of before and after and post it soon. I'm still waiting on the exhaust.

My personal opinion for best sounding exhausts on the F10 is as follows.

1- Meisterschaft

2- Eisenmann (race)

3- Supersprint

4- Custom setup by Royal muffler

Just by doing an axle back setup and replacing the stock mufflers with a set of nice mufflers like the ones stated above should give you a nice deep and aggressive sound while still maintaining the sound on the conservative side, not having to worry about the exhaust note being too loud as long as you keep the stock mid section resonator and cats in place.

Is the Eisenmann exhaust a full system or just mufflers?

Remus has a brand new axle-back system for the F10 535 coming soon. None have been shipped yet as I understand because initial production run is not ready (per **********s). I will want to hear sound clips before I buy, but I think Remus is generally somewhat conservative. Will wait and see.

The Eisenmann exhaust for the F10 is a rear muffler section only.

I want a sound that has a similar volume to a CLS63 AMG. Obviously, the tone would likely be different. However, in terms of sheer "loudness".

I ordered mine through Eisenmann North America and you put down 50% until it ships, then they charge the balance. It will be right at 9 weeks after I placed my order when I receive it. Eisenmann makes factory exhausts for BMW and Porsche so, as it was explained to me, these custom exhaust sytems are hand made one-by-one and take a back seat to their regular mass production runs.

Eisenmann only makes a rear muffler section for the F10 5 Series. Axle-back means that the exhaust is from the rear axle to the rear bumper. For example, a cat-back on a F10 would signify a exhaust from the down pipe to the rear bumper. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.

Supersprint offers a full line for the F10 550. I know that on the website the rear muffler requires the purchase of their x-pipe. I am positive that a qualified shop can work around it. We are a master dealer for Supersprint so if you have any questions you may contact us directly. The rear mufflers as well as the x-pipe (resonated and non-resonated) are in stock in Italy with a lead time for shipping stateside of roughly 1-2 weeks.
