Detailer's Domain: BMW 328 - Exterior Correction

BMW 328 Coupe - Exterior Paint Correction

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
- Wheel wells were cleaned up
- Pre Washed with W99
- Iron Cut
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- Paint Measurement
- 2 Step - Meguiar's M105 and Super Finish
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step – Aquartz Reload
- Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

Clay - with all that prep work we still had this much on the clay bar

nice work!!!! A question for you Phil. I have yet to use the Iron cut, but does it remove all the iron and rail dust and ect. on the car and or just help with it?

it definitely does a great job, however if its bad you may need to clay

cool, ya sometime I get cars cover it rail dust and such. And takes forever to clay, looks like this would speed up the process a bit. Now out of the one liter bottle how much do you use let say on that car? About how many car does one liter do?
