If money is no object, definitely go Eisenmann, we've sold a few and customers love them.

If money is an object, go REMUS. Still a great system, and they do OE for BMW.

It is indeed OEM BMW and it is carbon fiber. Feel free to PM for any other questions you have.

Regarding Eisenmann as a brand, Eisenmann's fabricators have been hand-crafting exhaust systems since 1988. Although Eisenmann is mostly known to the enthusiast crowd for their aftermarket work this particular division represents a very small percentage of overall production. Eisenmann is a OE supplier to Porsche AG, Mercedes AMG, Mercedes McLaren, Rieger Tuning GmbH, MST Wiesmann GmbH, and many other major firms. Below are a couple links to our two most recent trips to Germany.

In the end a exhaust is a very personal choice with many variables including but not limited to price, volume, tone, etc...

Eisenmann Sport Quad Exhaust on F-10 535i.

I purchased the Sport exhaust, as I was afraid the Race would be much too loud and "look at me"-ish. It's difficult to get the tonality on a video camera, in this case a Flip HD video, but it is night and day compared to stock. The idle sound throaty, deep and powerful. The exhaust is louder, but not obnoxious. Driving inside the car you can hear it, but it is satisfying. There is a slight drone at 1800-2000 rpm, but it is not at all annoying.

Now here is a question, do those exhaust system increase or decrease performance? Because there was an issue with some N54 exhausts system which would mess up back-pressure and actually decreasing performance of turbocharged engine...

For all those systems mentioned above, do they all have droning issue at 1700 to 2300 RPM range?

I have a Magnaflow custom system. I am very annoyed by it.

Magnaflow is crazy on droning. I had to remove mine when I had it on my benz. I think you can add glass pack resonators to reduce the drone and keep the sound.

Try 3D or Arqray. For 528, they have an extra resonator so it reduces droning. For 535, they have control valves to maximize torque at any RPM range. Quite pricey though.

ALL will drone. The better question is which ones are absolutely annoying (head pounding) and which ones are subtle (simply turn up the radio a couple of dial)

Besides, everyone's preference of noise is different.
