Camber Kit?

I've got a slightly dropped e92 335i. Just installed a new set of Vredesteins on Alufelgen SF-71s (staggered; 35mm offset; 265s in the rear). Run flats were dead due to negative camber.

BTW, this is my first BMW, so thank you Parkview for not mentioning that the car was dropped and the negative camber / improper alignment would eat tires...

Having learned an expensive (and potentially dangerous) lesson, I have an appointment booked with Altech for an alignment on Wednesday.

So here is my question, should I consider a rear camber kit to save tires? It's an issue as I have a long commute from Richmond Hill to Oakville. For those in the know, is a rear camber kit a wise option or overkill if Altech gets it right?

Altech is not able to adjust any aftermarket front camber, at least in my case...rear camber is adjustable without rear camber kit

negative camber actually improves handling of your vehicle. however, this is done at the cost of sacrificing tire wear.

if you prefer to have longer tire life vs. improve handling, you need to remove the negative camber from the front and revert them back to stock settings.

Negative camber up front on our McPherson struts actually makes little difference on tire wear.

As for the rear, after doing my research this is the logical explanation I have come up with. Your inside doesn't wear EXTRA it wears like normal, just the outside of your tire wears LESS due to less contact.... however when you remove the tire you automatically assume that the outside is how much your tire should have worn and the inside is excessively worn. Its the Toe that causes excess wear on your cars. Set your toe in to 0 in the rear (not recommended) and give it all the negative camber you want and I don't think you'll see too much excess wear.
