Hey folks,

Just wanted to swing in and say hello...

I recently traded in my 2008 VW Passat for a 2009 BMW 335i Coupe...and I'm loving it.

I found a smoking deal on this car as it only had 16k on the speedo. It a 6speed and has the sports pack, convenience pack, comfort access pack, logic 7 and 19inch wheels (which I'll probably be selling as I want 18's).

It's only been a few days...but the itch to mod has begun!

I'm just happy to join the family...

Only pic I have so far:

EDIT: New Pics I snapped today:

LOL...I'm already planning.

I will probably end up buying a GIAC chip...as a friend of mine has a shop that carries that software.

I'm actually debating if I should keep the 19's or sell them with tires and pick up a pair of 18's.

I remember reading that there was a pretty large group of e90'ers near UCF...

Coming from a VW...this car is completely different and will require a lot more learning!

Remaps your car. Typically affecting your turbos and fuel. Might want to do a quick search on it...

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!

No Graphite over here...

It's Mojave Metallic!

I've been looking for a 335i for about 8 months now...and this is the first Mojave E92 I've seen in Florida! Lucky everything worked out as once I saw the car in person...I was hooked!

I actually haven't seen one modded on here either...so this should be fun! I've looked through all the Official Color Threads...and I couldn't find anyone with one.

It's a great color. Looks like a dark champagne mixed with brown mixed with purple. It's extremely hard to capture the color on my cell...so the picture is deceiving.

Better picture of the color:

Thanks dude.

I love the wheels...but I tend to hit all the bumps when I drive and I figured I'll end up cracking a wheel.

Also...I want to drop it...so I'm still deciding between springs vs coils.

Also...have you seen the price for wheels!!!

Tirerack.com wants $1,500 for wheels and I'm guessing the dealership wants over $2k for a set! My wife is going to flip when she finds out!

I mean...my Passat was lowered on 17's so I was spending $600 for a nice set of wheels! LOL.

VW is a poor mans excuse for a german car my friend lol...if you plan on having the car for the long haul id suggest coil overs and a nice set of 18's since you dont seem comfortable with the 19's which is understandable...Ive got a clean set of 189's with brand new rear tires but no TPMS on my car now if youd ever want to think about swapping over, 19s dont bother me a bit plus i dont drive that much anyways. Also have a set of 17's too but i dont think youd have a need for those

Looks like a great car,

but from your pics it looks like you have OEM 189s. which are 18's not 19's

Enjoy it!
