8/12 Test N Tune at Pacific Raceways (Slips included)
Hi guys,
this coming Friday, the 12th, will be the last Test N Tune at Pacific Raceways for this year. I'll be there to test out my newly installed methanol injection kit. I'm wondering if anyone else from here is attending this event?

Should be able to see some mid to low 12's numbers with my current setup. 11's will be tough with street tires.

but who knows if your 60ft comes out good, then it might also be possible. i hit 1.7 something on 60ft for my record run (admit that was rather luck than skill ). i hope you get to run a lot of times and hopefully break into 11's. i ran like 17 times on my last day of T&T last year. luckly no accident until towards very end so... have fun and record back!

It was a dissapointed day for me at the drag strip today. I had absolutely no idea how to cut down the 60' time.
Spoke with Jeff Butler, one of the instructors of BMW CCA, and he said we should be seeing at least mid 12's of ET with my trap speed. These were the best two runs that I did today. #5308 Last run with #523 (First Generation Eclipse) was pretty exciting though. I was still behind him at 1000' and finally caught up with him right before the line. Mods: Procede V5 7-29 beta map (map 4 @ 16.5 psi) FBO 50/50 methanol mix Roughly 2~2.5 gallons of Shell 92 and 4 gallons of Trick 101 Maybe the boost and methanol mix were a little bit too conservative? The best run were actually done with the traction control on. (Forgot to shut it off!!) LOL

Was it a TSX or AWD Mitsubishi? If so, perhaps the track is just too slippery. Last time out when I ran the 11.26, track conditions started to deteriorate so much I actually had a run in the 12's. I just gave up after that, wasn't interested in going into the wall.

ah man. this is bummer... i would expect you to run mid to low 12 at the very least.
well, as i pointed out, i don't think the power was the issue (i ran 12.3 without meth and 1:4 gal of 92/101 on street tires) rahter the traction so DR with good 60ft might've shave another minute or so... how many run were you able to go? p.s. btw, my launch was rather simple because mine is auto. just playing around RPM range at launch and toggling between M1 and M2. think i overall god better time with second gear if i remember correctly but my best 60ft came from first gear start and i launched it around 3k rpm or something...

12.3x with no meth is quite amazing. I think Eric's best time was 12.3x as well with meth. I guess AT is a lot easier than MT then.

it's hard to launch in the turbo car, especially with the manual. because when the turbo kicks in the first gear, you're automatically lost the traction. if you can shift the first gear before the turbo kicks in. OR there is always a good option for you GET MY DRs! jk.

when i and eric was there last year for the last day of t&t, we got to run like 17~18 runs and if there were no accdient, we would've probably ran like 20+ runs... u kinda get the kick of it after 4~5 passes so 8 run is sorta short... when did you get there? did you adjust traction nany or something like that (procede feature)? it helped my launch tremendously. i adjusted down to like 50% on first and second or soemthing like that... i wish i can help any better but i never actually ran any this year so everything that i say is so so outdated stuff probably... lol

I was running the 7-29 autotuning beta map and if I remembered correctly, the traction nanny is disabled?
