0-60 in 4.53 with PROcede
I know some people have said that the Passport GT-1 is not 100% accurate, but I just borrowed my co-worker's brand new GT-1 and did 3 runs on my car during my lunch time. I was very happy with the results, and here are the pictures (taken with my cell phone, sorry!). 4.53 was the best time I got. Mind you, I did 3 quick runs because I was on a public road near my office and had to do it before traffic came behind me, etc. Not much time to sit and think about the launching technique. Weather today is dry and a very nice 78 degrees and this was on an asphalt street.
First run I took off at ~2,400 RPM and got too much wheelspin. Time was 4.73s. Second and third runs I took off at ~1,600 RPM with some wheelspin in 1st and 2nd gears. Times were 4.53 and 4.55 respectively. My car info is in the signature. Could not do the 1/4 mile because of the street I was on (way too dangerous to drive 100+ MPH there!). I will try that next time I can borrow it again, and after I practice my take off's some more (these were my second time trying 0-60 launches). Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the results and with the PROcede!

Nice time!!! That's about what I've been getting with my Beltronics Vector FX1 timer (same as the Escort Passport GT-1 timer). I typically try to time 1/4 mi. runs (which also records the 0-60mph time as well) for better accuracy. However, yesterday, I was messing around by just doing a quick 0-60mph run, and got 4.45 sec. My best 1/4 mi. run thus far recorded 13.02 sec @ 108.3mph and 4.50 sec. 0-60mph. The more runs you do, the more you'll find that you'll be getting somewhere around 4.4 - 4.6 sec. 0-60mph and ~ 13.0 sec. or less for the 1/4 mi....just be careful doing your timed runs and don't forget to push the DTC button 1 quick time to turn DTC on and rev to ~ 1,500rpm for the best launch.

Nice. When I first saw the times I thought that your car would be an Auto, but its good to see that you are getting some traction with your 6MT.

Can you hook me up??? I'd be happy to be your guinea pig...I do like your upcoming MonoForged VS7...forged CSL wheels!!! I've got my 24.5 lb. M6 Reps on now, but I've already had 2 incidences of curb rash (kind of bad too on the front wheel...just going through the bank drive-through). ...they look great but they're not exactly durable.

I shifted to second at just over 6K RPMs (~6300 as recommended by Shiv@Vishnu somewhere)

Definitely! I am in Miramar, but work in Miami and often go to the Brickell area (going to 900 this Friday for a happy hour), so let's get in touch. Let me know when you are going to do runs and I'll try to make it.

No kidding. It's not that bad (although some other ppl would definitely freak out over the 2 scratched wheels), but I rarely scratched up my stock wheels in any car I've ever had; this is the first set of aftermarket wheels I've had, and in 4 weeks time, I have 2 wheels with curb rash! These M6 Rep wheels look phenomenal on the 335i Coupe (and they don't stick out -- I've got et38 front and et40 rear), but I think they're just a bit soft...not as durable as the stock wheels.
