Anybody herd of Split Second's Turbo Tuner?

They're advertising 40bhp and 50lbs/ft increases with the instalation of their chip on the 335i. Has anybody herd of them or had any experience? Thanks for the help.

nahh im really looking to upgrade. Im wondering if I should do this or if I should just spend more on the procede?

I just watched the Procede install video and all i can say is it might give u more HP and TQ but i would be really uncomfortable doing that install especially myself and its not easily removable if u want to take ur car in for service and have a prob. Also my car is a lease so i will most likely go with the Turbo Tuner its plug and play and i dont have to take my car apart and splice into the wiring harness for the ECU.
But to each his own.

thanks for the helpful info. this is what i was looking for instead i got ripped for mentioning somthing other than procede. mines a lease as well so ill look into the TT unless someone else with a lease has done the procede and believes it is the best way to go.

fwiw I run the turbo tuner and I've been really happy with it. You get almost all of the gain of the PROCede for less than 1/2 the cost. Another big benefit to me was I could buy it and have it the next day. Down the road I might upgrade, but for now its great.

So what exactly are you looking for

There is LOTS of info about Turbo Tuner, Procede, Xede, and some info about ECU flashes (J-Levi/SpeedInnovation and TMS). Are you having trouble finding the threads or is there additional info you are looking for that isn't in those threads? I'm not criticizing, I just honestly am not sure what you are hoping to get answered that insn't in the abundant threads already out there.

TT is perfect for me. I love the aggressive growl and punch it gives when driving. I haven't taken it out on a WOT yet but plan to this weekend. Lots of get up and go and knowing that I can take it out and/or put it on in a flash is cool as well. I'm not dinging PROcede cause I know it kicks @$$...just that this is good enough for what I want and for the price and convenience, it's perfect. Maybe I'll tap into the PROcede way down the road if I want more. Until then....read, listen, decide, and execute.

Beside the obvious PROcede vs. TT discussions (inner-workings, safety, performance, install, etc.), one thing that's also important to note is the fact that the PROcede receives free updates (downloads from laptop to PROcede) from Shiv on an on-going basis, while the TT is a passive, one-time performance mod (that does not get any updates/tweaking). We expect PROcede v2.0 with many enhancements from Shiv sometime later this year.
