Greetings..from a new user.

Hi my name is Fernando, im from Guayaquil-Ecuador..few hours ago i just went to pick my brand-new 07 335i coupe... and among the differents modifications that i have in mind i will like to know if u could advice me on aftermarket parts.

I have a few doubts..they say that the bmw 335i comes stock with 300hp at 6psi...so what i've read so far there is this Autowerke performance package that leaves the 335i with 400hp...i want to know if thats true...or if anybody here has already install that package..which comes with the exhaust system the software for ecu and the bov valve...

I will appreciate...your answers.

I don't have the car yet, but from reading the forums daily I would say go with PROcede.

The site is vishnutuning.com

Hi

Yes, AA is well-known here in the forum. Excellent quality, competent.

Some more specific this set consists of 3 different parts. The piggyback ECU ( Processor ), BOV & exhaust. They are independent from each other.

Considering the piggyback ECU at this time there exists a more mature product, the PROcede ( my thoughts ). There are already a lot of users and a continuously upgrowing positive reliability experience.

Take time & start here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37494

Cheers

but at the same time i've heard that the PROCEDE..creates porblems with the fuel pump..is there any direct connection between instaling that system and the problems with the pump ?

so basically what the PROCEDE people do...is that they increase the boost of the 335i...leaving it with 8 psi... and 380hp ??? is that true. because thats what the people from AA are promising me.

Statement from a competent forum member related to reliability:

So far I have not seen any reliability issues with the procede here. Some people tend to blame it for causing fuel pump issues but the fuel pumps are known to be problematic on the 335.

True.

yeah but my point is..that if the fuel pump failure is a problem from stock 335 charging 6 psi..now imagine the lack of fuel that it will have charging 8psi...is there anybody here that has move on to bigger inyectors..what capacity of cc does it come with the 335i stock

FYI -- the fuel pump failures are NOT related to the PROcede, and any "bad" fuel pump may or may not fail any quicker with the PROcede; but the PROcede does NOT cause the fuel pump to fail. In addition, I believe the defective fuel pumps are still on a low percentage of 335i's.

Hi Fernando, I am from Guayaquil, too, but I live in Miami. I have the PROcede installed (already 2k miles with it installed) and have not had any problems at all, except for wanting to drive too fast I highly recommend you get it. You will not regret it, and you will for sure have the fastest 335i in Guayaquil.

+1 on pump issues being totally un-related to PROcede.

Does AA let you substitute something besides the B.O.V.?

the AA package contains , BOV , EXHAUST , AND SOFTWARE..they think that the whole package will be ready on late abril or the in beginning of may... i hope i can get 400hp out of my 335i... which i think its really attainable..due to the fact that software increases the boost to 8psi..which leaves the car with 380hp plus the exahaust system..which at that level is really helpful..

Yes Sir,

We have sold a couple of the packages without the BOV already. We have been shipping ou the units on a daily basis. Its tough keeping up with the demand at this point. Intro pricing is set at $1080.

Dude, enjoy your new car for a few months, and then mod it that way you will have the time to get used to it, and then boost it again, and feel the difference
