Oil Cooler thermostat
Does anyone know at what temp. the thermostat for the oil cooler allows oil to enter the cooler? Just curious.

Hmmm, maybe that's why my car runs at an incredibly steady 230-240 degrees regardless of stress.

Yeah.. BMW really wants to get the oil and coolant temp. heated up as fast as possible.
The electric cooling pump is even disabled then turns on when the coolant is at operating temp. |
