It sucks, but like I mentioned before and this video just reiterated it, no BER for US.
Wonder what the reason behind that decision is?

i don't see why bmw wouldn't bring BER stateside. i predict that we'll see BER fitted on US M3's.

BER

I think we will see BER in US models. Efficient dynamics is one of the major marketing thrusts of the new car and BER is and important part of that. BER could very well save the M3 from the dreaded gas guzzler tax in the US as well. Perhaps a reason (pure speculation) it wouldn't make it here may be EPA regulations on the special battery required for the system?

Motor Trend specified that BMW told them that. I hope you are right about this and the two-piston calipers.
