Anyone else Drive through this????

I was on my way home from school, down 66, and I got on 15 instead of 29 (to Gainesville), when all of a sudden the sky opens up and shits down on my car!! I was so scared for my baby, it was really beating my bodywork! I don't think my car had ever driven through such harsh weather! It was so loud, I was just thinking to myself, how much damage is this going to be?

I turned into a driveway after it was over and looked for damage....nothing .... I was so relieved!

I really was sure the car was wrecked! Anyone else see this hail?

I know right donny???

I really was screaming at the top of my lungs while it was going on, STOP STOP!!

I would say about quarter sized! It sounded like I was under attack by terrorists or something! I NEVER would have thought that the car could had stood this much damage without even a scratch!!

It still sucked, but I guess it can get worse (cause I had no damage), but Its hard to believe hail could be worse!

I was in a similar strom last summer in Bethany Beach. My Passat was outside of the garage, now has several indentations the size quarters. Glad you escaped unscathed.

My wife had a 1996 Ford Probe when we first met...it looked like an ugly green golf ball from all the hail dimples it had...I wanted to paint Titleist on it and drive it into a lake....
