Laguna Seca with the PCA for THREE days Sept 9-11.

Thought this was a great deal for Laguna Seca since it's a weekend too.
Fri/Sat/Sun for $495 is a great price.

I just don't know if instruction is extra.

So you don't need to own a p-car? That is a killer deal.

I run with PCA GGR and don't own a Porsche. They do require you go through their New Driver check. Not sure about the Central Coast chapter but I've run with them too and they're a great group.

Check their Website for qualifications requirements.

Is instruction extra?
Do they have passing zones and point-by's for intermediate people?

Seriously considering doing this, as long as I can sign up without owning a Porsche.

I think they tend to put the non-members on a waitlist.
Just go get a Porsche dude.

My wife didn't say no, but got to find someone to take the kids.

On the east coast, they open registration for non-members 1-2 weeks after regular registration, so yeah, chances are you'll get waitlisted here too. Typically though they'll recognize repeat non-member registrants and act accordingly.

This year 4 out of my 5 events were with PCA, none with CCA. The dynamics of running together with p-cars mostly are quite interesting. Way more challenging than the typical CCA crews.

Not to mention that I now have my eye on a 996 TT for next year's DE season

You could have flown by me in my E36 M3. I highly recommend taking part in PCA events. Great group and they are very interested in you becoming a faster driver so the instruction is a little different than BMWCCA.
