Race Seats fitment side affects

I am fitting a set of Recaros to my E90 335i. I have not ordered the seat occupancy emulator. What will the side effects be without it?
Planning on running the oem seat belts initially but in the event I run a harness will the seat belt gong keep going off?

Airbag light - the E90 has airbags in the seats, so removing this airbag will trigger that light, OC3 or not. I'm not sure about the E90, but on my car the seatbelt gong is disabled with my airbag light is on. Additionally, my drivers side one touch up doesn't work anymore. One touch down does, and both one touch up/down on the passenger window works. Our experiences might be similar since the Z4M runs a E90 DME with the E46M program. It seems like the most tried and true method around the light is resistors.
