anti-freeze Coolant low
I know the BMW coolant is 50/50 long term coolant, does my n52 have to have bmw type coolant or will other high quality 50/50 coolants work? I'm in a bind, of course this had to happen today when everything except autozone is closed...thank goodness for autozone.....any advice would be much appreciated.

The only other coolant I'd consider in an "emergency" would be Zerex G-05. If it needs just a little, distilled water is fine. Otherwise just wait for the dealer to open.

i just replace the coolent in my n52 and it turned out to be the same price for bmw antifreeze and any other premium antifreeze so you might as well use the blue bmw stuff but to hold you over for today your fine just using distilled water and then doing a coolant change tomaro
