2009 335i 15k miles no CPO

Ive have since moved past looking at a kia forte and have realized i need something different. I found a nice black/black 09 e90 335 with 15k miles 1 owner for low 30's, but no cpo...Is one of these cars something you guys would entertain or is it not being cpo a deal breaker for you? Are the 09's as prone to problems as the earlier models with the injector recall and such? Thanks

Being an 09 and at 15k miles, it's still under warranty. CPO is useful but mine is not CPO'd and I have no issues with it. For the most part, the car has been solid. Others have had different experiences with theirs. It's a mixed world.. you can look into extended warranties, etc. and find other options comparable or better to CPO.

Search the forum, there is discussion on this. Good luck.

I love my BMW but in purchasing all BMW, you have to have a CPO... maintainence can be very expensive.

Asking 33k. Sport, prem, xenon, alum trim. Black on black, build date 09/08 if that makes any relevance.

Yea I hear that and my current e90 is a Cpo and I've found it very useful. I would assume with a 335 I would need it even more lol

it costs the dealer 1500 on average to CPO a car and this is then added to the price.
You can buy an extended warranty for 36/60000 for 2200 a month before your factory runs out. With the options the dealer can offer on this warranty it is as good as CPO. Some people buy the warranty at point of purchase to bury it in their loan, but what most do not know it that it starts on the effective date of the purchase, not on the date of factory warranty expiration. CPO shouldn't be a deal breaker.
It's a nice-to-have. You have to pay for extended maintenance post 4yrs/50k if you wanted it and that's 2k for the 335i.

Pertaining to your last question, it seems that the CPO would benefit you by giving you peace of mind. You could also do a check of the car's history to see what's been replaced under it's manufacturer's warranty and if all the recalls were done. If you want to compare what you're looking at vs another purchase, I just bought mine last week, details are below.

2009 335i Coupe
Full Loaded
Steptronic
34k miles
CPO
$38,500 out the door
