Noob Radio Question

Folks - Am I missing something or is there no Long Wave on the radio ?

Under AM there seems to be Medium Wave and (strangely) Short Wave.

PS Got F10 520d today !

I'm waiting for my F10 520d SE to arrive. When I ordered it my dealer mentioned there was no LW available. For me that meant considering the DAB option, even though the only time I listen to LW is for Radio 4 Test Match Special. Is there a particular station you're after? If so, the other potential option is streaming internet radio via a smartphone.

The streaming internet app is pretty poor IMO, it constantly buffers even though my phone often shows full 3g connection...

Aside from internet streaming then there is talk on other F10 forums that DVD In Motion are working on possibly enabling DAB for those who didn't specify the option. This is based on the assumption that if you have the professional media package the DAB receiver is there it just needs to be software enabled/coded. This varies by country so I don't know if it applies to Ireland. Also I've not heard if they have managed to actually to do this yet. Anyway the link to this thread is
