aftermarket thermostat?
I'm just not used to having a car run steadily at 240* F. I'm not sure if this is something BMWs are meant for which doesn't make sense to me. So i was wondering if there are any aftermarket thermostats maybe 160* or so i could get my hands on. I have an N55

230-240 are the normal temps for these cars. If you don't already have an IC you should get one. You might see a little drop in temps.

FBIS has a thermostat on his n54 I do believe he's running at about 180 with zero problems.
