Looking for Some Exhaust Help in the Kansas City Area!

Hey all,

The time has come for me to upgrade the exhaust on my e92 335i and I'd really appreciate the opportunity to hear some aftermarket exhausts installed in person on any 335i's out there. I'd say the two exhausts I'm most interested in hearing are the BMW performance exhaust and the AE exhaust. I'm not necessarily opposed to other options, but those two are at the top of my list. So if anyone has some free time in the upcoming week or so and can help a fellow KC'er out, leave a reply or PM me! Thanks for the help!

Small lil bump - thinking about pulling the trigger on the BMW performance exhaust this week. Video clips don't really do any of the exhausts justice, but out of all the ones I've heard, the BMW perf. seems to match what I'm looking for the best. Still would like to hear one in person if possible!

You'll probably have better luck asking over at e46fanatics.com. There are a ton of KC guys over there that do a lot of maintenance and mods themselves including helping each other out. There just don't seem to be very many KC folks on this forum.

I am in the same boat as you. I would love to hear some of the exhausts but don't know anyone with one. It seems like one of the last mods most people do.

Hey guys, I'm in St. Louis. If you're ever over here, you can listen to the AFE exhaust I have on my e92. It sounds like a VW Jetta compared to the exhaust on my ISF. LOL

Its good. It sounds better than stock. I wish you would have asked me this question last year. I could have given you a better answer but now my opinions of exhausts have been skewed by my experience with my ISF. At WOT the ISF sounds so incredible but drones so much when at a low rpm, especially in 8th gear. So the AFE's exhaust note sounds minimal to me.

Thanks for the replies guys, glad to see I'm not the only one! Still haven't pulled the trigger on the BMW perf. exhaust, hoping I can get around to it soon. I'll be sure to update if/when I do it.
