Look at what I did to my car before I went to Trinidad!

Look at what I did to my car before I went to Trinidad!

Well I been collecting mods since I bought my car new in 2008. I would always buy a mod and then read something from Mr. 5 and then delay the install of it because of one of his reviews, then I would wait until I have the money to buy the mod but then there would be another mod that is connected to that mod, and it kept like that until the second week of May.

That is when Dzenno and mike@N54tuning kept bugging me to stop collecting and start installing.

So Dzenno told me about a very, very good and honest mechanic that has his own shop Ivo @ Columbus Automotive in Mississauga, Ont

Anyways to make a long story short he installed everything at a price I could not refuse!

So this is what I had installed:

HKS BOV and black charge pipe- former e90post member
AFE Duel cone intake- former e90post member
Hotchkis Sport Under Chassis Brace- former e90post member
6 OEM plugs- former e90post member
AR oil-cooler- GB mike@N54tuning
AR oil catch can- GB mike@N54tuning
Wavetrac LSD- mike@N54tuning
AR Catless Downpipes ceramic coated- former e90post member
UCC SSK & DSSR Canadian e90post member
Helix Inter-cooler - from a former N54tech forum member
Vanguard exhaust system ver1- e90post member
D2 coilovers- from a former N54tech forum member
Adjustable endlinks- form HP Autowerks (Harold)
Used rear stock diff off a 2007 335i with 3000km- wrecking yard.
M3 rear bushing set- onefastman e90post member

From Patrick Casey @ http://www.bmwpartssource.com/ :

M3 Front Control Arm/Tension Strut Set
M3 aluminum rear guide rods
M3 rear aluminum wishbone
M3 Rear lower camber link
M3 Front sway bar
M3 Rear sway bar
M3 RUBBER MOUNTING FRONT
M3 RUBBER MOUNTING REAR
M3 Left Wishbone link
M3 Right Wishbone link
M3 Left Tension link
M3 Right Tension link
M3 Cross-brace

He installed everything at the same time, so I didn't have my car for a week and when I got it back I had to go off to Trinidad. So I really could not tell you how it road yet, but since I have came back, all I could say about these mods is "everything that was said in the forums is ture!"

They transformed my car is was like drive a new and better BMW, once he set up the suspension she responses allot quicker, the handling is amazing, the sound of the exhaust is wicked " everyone looks at me and ask what I got under that BMW. Ifeel like a teenager again, working on my buddy's old 5.0L Mustang!

The LSD is f@$king A, now I lease two equal black marks behind, and the car just shoots off like a bullet!

And that UCC SSK it think everyone should do this mod, it feels great!!!

Anyway I did not get to put her on the track because I missed the frist track day we had for the spring because I was in Trinidad, but the next one is in July and I am going to try to make it to that so I update this when I do.

Ivo did a kick ass job on my car, he does know his stuff, I would invite everyone to give him a shout.

Fortunately he is a better mechanic then a photographer so here are some picks of the install.

Hey, thanks for the hook up, if it wasn't for you and Mike pushing me, I would still have a room full of new parts!

Damn, that's a ton of mods, nice work!

That's an easy way to install the M3 rear sway bar!! It's a PITA when the subframe is only lowered (not off).

Thanks.

Yes, easy to install by dropping it and doing the LSD, coilover and the rear M3 part at the same time.
