wastegate rattle
i got the proced v5 and my wastegate rattes a little bit.. so i turned it down to 30% instead of the default 90. by changing setting to 30% does this affect performance any?.. does the rattle mean my turbos are on the way out?
ps. only 55000 km on the car thanks

it will induce a little bit of lag as it is causing the wastegate to sit open further, hence the rattle goes away. So, throttle tip in will be a tad slower. I can't comment on your turbo's lifespan, but it could indicate the actuators going out. Although it doesn't mean they are. BMW considers wastegate rattle normal operation depending on the conditions causing the rattle.
