1st Time at the track..hows my trap?
I've always been moddding cars but last week was the first time I actually hit up the track, gotta admit I love the adrenaline rush! Track was New England Dragway in NH
Any ways Im full bolt on..Intercooler, oil cooler, DP, Exhuast, DCI, and procede tune. I was running two gallons of ms109 mixed with basically empty 93 octane. Weather was about low 60s. I threw the procede in map2 which I believe is 14.5 psi. Just wondering how is my trap? I've seen others with full bolt on trap higher like 116+. Launched in DS mode. First time I launched in m1 it hit first gear twice and killed my time (maybe I hit kickdown but I forget) I know my 60s sucked but ima keep practicing on the launch. Place was packed so I only got to run twice. Slip ripped while I was pulling it out of my pocket... |

MPH is great for your car. 60' is obviously no good . With a good 1.7sec 60' and a 113mph run you would be looking at a 12.1 down to an 11.9 1/4mi run. For compairison see my times in my sig, that was with a 1.7sec 60'.

17.4 @ 76.8 mph - nice work!
I laid down the exact same numbers my first time to the track. Just work on RT/60' and you can hit low 12's on street tires. For every 0.1 sec on your 60' is roughly 0.2 seconds off your ET.

with MS109 you could have run at least 16-17 psi with FBO without issue, based off your current trap, probably got into the 116-117 range, especially without any ignition correction. For 14.5psi, traps look good.

Nice #'s for your first time. No worries, I couldn't break into the 14's with a supercharged Saleen my first time at the track like 20 years ago. Was in the 11's with the same car a year later.
Were you racing a school bus?
