Installing BMS DCI + JB4 + FabSpeed DP's on automatic 335 lci e90 next week. AA BOV?

OK so I know there are tons of discussions about the PROS/CONS of a BOV on an automatic car. My question is with the JB4 and DP's, would an AA bov be beneficial? I do like the swoosh sound but I would only get it when I rev the engine and let go or in steptronic. I was thinking that the DCI, DP's and JB4 will make the turbos sound deep but not too loud as it is. Also people have said that the stock charge pipe isnt built to handle huge gains which may lead to leaks etc. There is also that con when u have to take it to the dealer for anything. So BOV OR No? Also if anyone has the FabSpeed DP's, what r your opinions on these DP's compared to the more popular ones out there? THX

Garage List
Diverter valves are basically BOVs but they recirculate the air back into the intake system. The BOV gives you the "boy racer" sound. Personal preference.

You are correct about the stock charge pipe not being able to handle boost over 14psi very well. Leaks can occur.

If you are worried about mods at the dealer, the aftermarket charge pipe is the least of your worries on that install list. You can also put back the stock CP and DVs very easily if there is a problem. Same for the stock airbox.

The dealer will focus on the DPs if there are any issues for before any of your other mods.

Fab Speed DPs look good, but I haven't really seen too many people running them on this site. Most go with AR, Macht Schnell, CP-e, UR, etc. etc. Those have the best build quality....others are available, but you get what you pay for.

For a BOV the most popular choice is the ER Charge pipe with the Synapse BOV..
