BMS DCI just installed...

I followed the exact instructions manual from bms website. Everything went smoothly, thanks to bms.

However I do have a question. I went for a test drive as anyone would. After the car is warmed up, I floor it to see if I hear any noise differences.

Coming from Honda/Nissan guy, generally the intake sounds more aggressive, however, I did notice this DCI didn't make much noise except this "weeeeeeesh" noise everytime I hit the pedal.

Is this normal? I just wanted to be sure...

Here is the finished product!!

I thought so! I can hear it much better with the DCI than the stock airbox.

Time to look for some CP and BOV now...

Are you running stock boost? It gets a bit louder when you have a tune.

I didnt realize how loud the DCI were until I went back to stock intake, I couldnt hear anything not even the BOV.

I quickly went back as it was too quiet.

Robert at vishnu told me to do this if i wanted more sound, we even went for a test drive with it off, it does sound quite louder. I liked the sound and was going to do it when i got home, but where do you put the sensors? since they clip onto it???

I just found that pic on the net. It was for a carbon fiber housing replacement. I just wanted to verify what filter we were talkin about.

Found this thread for more info. Including your sensors question...
