H&R Springs

Hi everyone

Looking at getting some H&R's for my E92 (320). Ive got 19" wheels and thinking of getting some spacers too after I've lowered (12mm front and 15mm) will I experience any rubbing with the H&R sport springs as these seem to drop around 30mm which is what I was looking for.

Also where did you guys purchase your H&R's from? or do you have any other spring recommendation?

Thanks
Chris

The best person for H&R springs is Teddy @

Personally speaking and based on experience I'd avoid the H&R's, yes from an aesthetic viewpoint there the best out there, however the ride is far from comfortable and you'll bottom out on a regular basis, especially over speed bumps.
Steep drives are a no go zone, and even some underground car parks will be a pain to your car and you as you hear the front of the car scrape along the road!

I'd look at the Eibach's or better still get some coilovers, KW's or Bilstein.

A 15mm spacer on the rear will be quite tight, what wheels are they, what widths, and what is the tyre size?

So 225's which have an offset of ET39 (rear).

A 15mm spacer will give you an offset of ET24, this plus H&R sports will rub, even on standard 255/30 rubber.

I would'nt go any more than a 10mm spacer on the rear with your proposed set up.

Teddy on 07920 575052 will sort out your springs and spacers.

10mm all round, the 225's are a staggered set (8's/9's), so that will maintain the aesthetic.

I'm assuming you are keeping the standard tyre sizes?
225/35/19 front
255/30/19 rear

Are they runflats?
If so, get rid, H&R's + RFT's will be a horrendous ride!

Lucky Guy, and it's unusual to find non standard tyre sizes on a AUC? car.

What brand of tyre are they?

Definitely stick with 10mm spacers

They are gunmetal, the Alufelgens from last years group buy on here.

Keep thinking of black come refurb time to keep the theme going, maybe I'll photoshop one up later
