Tint shop in Raleigh?

Anybody have any recommendations on where to get tint done in the Raleigh/Cary area? Time to get some put on my E90...a few days in the 90's will make your mind up quickly!

I always go to sun protection in cary, gotten about 5 cars done there. And they use formula one, best thick tint out there

Tinted Atmosphere's in Apex. I used to tint windows and am very particular about my car. The guy there really takes his time and does it right. PM if you need any info.

Hi, how did they mess your car up? I may need to take it back to them to get the rear glass matrix area touched up. Anything I need to be careful about with those guys?

They did a shitty job on applying the tint to the windows. The front passenger window had a bubble, the trapped air is now gone but the tint is crinkled in that area. The rear passenger window has 3-4 long vertical cut marks on the tint itself.

When I got the car back, there was this white dust all over the outside of it and everything on the inside was sticky from the adhesive and water they used. You could see where the solvent ran down the inside door panels and on the outside too. They wanted me to come back in 5 days so they could use a special tool for the dot matrix on the back window, but I never returned. After what I have seen and the quality of work they did the first time, there was no way I'd let them within 5 feet of my ride... and that's with their arms stretched out.

I wasn't expecting too much from them, just a good tint job for the reasonable price they quoted me. Instead I got a F'up tint job and a dirty ass car.

Wow! Sorry to hear that they screwed your tint installation up so badly. I had looked the place up on the web and had made an appointment on the phone as they mentioned that they worked directly with Leith BMW. Was very surprised by the appearance of the place as it didn't look like they did too many new Bimmers. The tint itself wasn't too bad...but there was some of that white dust on the seats that I had to clean it up later. Like you, I am supposed to take it back to get the rear dot matrix straightened but, but don't think I will now.

Incidentally, I checked with my SA at Leith BMW and his recommendation was this other place in Raleigh - http://www.raleighclearbra.com/. Apparently they do a lot of work for Leith. I am now considering taking my car here to get the rear glass dot matrix area straightened out.

I second this recommendation. Dave at Tinted Atmospheres has done 4 cars for me...and wrapped my interior. His work is superb and he isn't afraid to take the time to do the job right.

I used Tint World in Cary for an ex's car, turned out great. 55% on the windshield and 38% the rest of the way around.

Tinted atmosphere will do below illegal if you pay cash. Obviously it wont be warranted since you are requesting illegal tint but they do an amazing job.

I can't speak to the non-legal tint, but David (Tinted Atmospheres) does a fantastic job with tinting. He did my old e36 and I plan to take my e92 to him when I have the funds for tinting.
