Dealer Accessories

Whats up i am a new guy. i just put a deposit on a 07 e90 335i jet black black leatherette and alum. plus sport package. i am an american soldier stationed in germany, and got a decent deal. anywho got a couple of questions for anyone who cares. the dealership where i got mine at is a german dealership but has an american working there to sell cars to american soldiers such as myself. the first time i walked into that dealership i fell in love with the e90, i'm normally a jap car guy but BMW switched me like a light switch with the 335i. the first car i saw when i walked into the dealer was a german spec 318i "Sondermodel"(Special model). i told my dealer i want that. it had the carbon fiber front splitters a carbon fiber rear spoiler and the tail lights that are clear across the top. i am also trying to work a deal with the german spec headlights and diffrent wheels than the 162's. this is also the first car i've ever bought brand new and first car i've ever bought over $15k so an alarm is a must. window tint is also a must for me. just a personnel preference. the car is U.S. spec but all the dealer accessories are german. i am currently working issues with german to english translation but so far the roll up is as follows:
Sonder model kit
C/F Splitter L.-205.88
C/F Splitter R.-205.88
Glue-16.82
M Technick Front-422.68
C/F Rear Spoiler-315.13
Rear View Mirror R.-121.85
Rear View Mirror L.-121.85
Rear Lights-206.72
Total W/O Headlights-1616.81 Euros
As far as the alarm and window tint goes
Interrior mirror(dealer tells me this has to be replaced?) 373.11
Alarm system 102.24
Window tint 265
total is 740.35
plus labour and encoding 680 brings us to 1420.35 for window tint and alarm from dealer. and thats in euros. right now exchange rate is about 75 cents for every euro. all i am asking is for anyone with experience to reveiw this and tell me if i would be able to get a better deal back in the states if i wait or if i should go with it.
thanks

If you're going to be stationed here for more than two years after you receive your ride, then you'll have problems registering your vehicle if you have the driver/passenger windows tinted. Check out the Stars & Stripes a few days back. They're starting to enforce that law here when you get your car inspected. Best to wait and get her tinted in the states. Besides, 265 Euro for tint is a little much for over here.

I would keep as much US spec on it as possible. You can by the Euro head lights then put them on after you PCS.

Mind you...they are not DOT approved...thus illegal.

Same is true for the tint...I had mine tinted here. Tint laws vary from state to state. If you follow the tint laws in the state you register it in your good to go at least in Texas...but why would you rather be any place else?

heeheh

also if your financing...check out www.penfed.org

you cant beat their intrest rates!
