took me a while to see what was the point of this thread.

I went to the NIT Semi Final at the garden. It was a blast, I saw two 1 point games from the third row. What a great time. I was rooting for WVU in the first game and then Air Force (AF) in the second game.

On the train ride home, there were some total dickhead WVU fans in the back of the train car, talking trash about all the other teams very loudly. You would have though they had won the NCAAs or something. Luckily I was listening to my Ipod for most of the train ride home and didn't even know how obnoxious they were being, until I put my stuff away 5 minutes before my train stop. As I was walking to my car in my AF uniform they started giving me shit about how the AF sucked. I turned around and gave them a death look but I wasn't going to start anything since there were 4 of them (drunk) and one of me and my g/f. They made all the WVU fans look bad. I'm sure they were laughing about it the next day while they were flipping burgers at McDs. There sure are a lot of dickheads in this world without any type of respect for anyone else. It's very sad.

Didn't want to be negative, just needed to vent.

"Virginia for Lovers" is for Virginia, which is a different state than West Virginia.

I'm happy that someone other than me pointed this out. However I would prefer that slogan over our current one "West Virginia, Open for Business" It used to be "West Virginia, Wild and Wonderful'
