So I Have A Problem! Help Please!
Hi everyone, I need some advice and help with my suspension. I have a 2011 335is, I've just gotten my H&R Race springs installed yesterday. After driving around for about 30 minutes, THIS HAPPEN!!
I will explain what has happen ever since these poped up. ONE my traction control is fully off and will not come back on, no matter how many times i press the dtc buttin and turn car off n on. TWO When i floor it on 1st gear, IT WILL ALWAYS SHIFT AT 3K PERFECTLY! After 2nd gear then I can start shifting past 3K. Is this some type of safey feature that turned on because I've change the springs on the car that exceed past the normal height of ride? Aparently soo far all of the stuff that has happen when those lights turn on is not enableing me to do what I please. I cant run the car hard, I cant do more than 100, When I use the brakes, it feels very stronger than normal when adding 20% brakes. ANY ADVICE PLEASE THANK YOU. ALSO, the company Gorilla Motorsports, Is the place where I got it done, They have also installed H&R springs on lots of BMW's includding my bud's 335i coupe. Should I bring it into BMW? or What? Will this void my suspension? thx alot guys, I really need help :'( |

Yes this will void your suspension warranty. You're making your stock shocks work harder than they normal have to since the suspension travel has changed and your stock shocks aren't valved for it.
Bring it back to the shop you got it done at. They are responsible. I would think something like the ride height sensor wasn't installed or removed properly. |

The installers disconnected an ABS sensor and forgot to reconnect it, or damaged the wiring to the ABS sensor. Take it back to the installer(s) and have them take care of it.

Thank you I've gotten it sorted out. It was the sensors and the alignment that made the car tripped out alil bit and my dealership told me don't worry and they won't void my warranty. Were very cool
