Question Slight vibration at 110 MPH and over....??

I was on a road trip and there were a couple of opportunities (no cars and wide open highway) to open it up a little bit. Noticed a slight vibration at speeds of 110 and over. Not a vibration through the steering wheel, but more through the car.

There is definitely a difference at 80-90 (butter smooth) and 105-110++. Should there be??

Days before I went on the trip, I took my car to a popular tire shop in town to have all rims/tires/balancing examined. They said no rims were bent and that the front left wheel was out of balance.... which they corrected. But still, I notice the slight roughness at higher speeds.

Any ideas? I thought it was the road quality or wind perhaps.... but if it was the road, I think I would notice it at 80-90 just as much.

Thanks!

Guessing wheel balance despite what the tire shop said. Was it Road Force balanced?

Should be just as smooth as 90 - 100. Was it nice road surface?

@ jopa - no, not road force balanced. I was tempted to go to a shop that had one, but was convinced otherwise. Perhaps I should try that....

@ BTT - Yea, the road seems fine. I thought that might be the reason, but wouldn't any road roughness be noticed at 80-90, too? I don't think it would all of a sudden become noticed at 110+.
