Status (that i know of):
missing: power button, vibration device, volume/vib switch
electrical problems: backlight not working, need to squeeze top right of screen to see display.


The good: it connects to my laptop and I was able to (yesterday) access the phone and delete everything and revert back to factory settings. I did have to squeeze the top right of the phone to see and have enough ambient light to see the display.

The glass has very superficial and limited damage but has one small chip along the edge where i damaged it during dismantling. overall 7 or 8/10. The black plastic case has several chips and is cracked near the power supply opening. 5-6/10 condition for the plastic.

I figured there are quite a few ppl out there who can pop this thing open and restore it or part it out.

several 32gb 3GS phones (with serious faults) are approaching $200 on ebay...

I'd like to get $150 (shipped to lower 48) or I'll probably try the ebay route.
