burnout?

ok guys i recently got my 08 335i MT and i tried burning out, i held the clutch in 1st accelerated and let the clutch go nothing happened. The car moved really slow as the engine was reved and it went slow until the car caught uup to the motor.....how do u do this properly?? plssss help thnx

Hold the DCT button down until u get the circle with the arrow..this releases the traction control
