Just caught this feature on Watchdag - what a joke

If anyone was daft enough to buy the PPI in the first place, why should they get their money back?

Like all financial products, mortgages, loans etc, some products are better than others. Read the terms.

So those buying it over they year helped the banks make more profit, which probably kept mortgage/loan rates down a fraction of a percentage, saving me some dough.

didn't catch watchdog, but some lenders bundled it in with the premiums without telling the punters.. the other method is the lenders that forced you to take it in order to get the loan at all, that's what the big deal is about.

i agree though, if you went for it from the lender through choice, well.. your an idiot

It's not people who were sold it who can get money back. It's people who were mis-sold it.

Alot of the no win no fee companies forced you to take it, as did some loan companies. Furthermore: The hard sell to the vulnerable even though the salesman knew FULL WELL that the small print would exclude said victim from ever claiming? That is what this is about.


Anyone who simply bought it because it sounded like a great idea however is a spic.
