Think of it simply as an after-market "SPORT" button.
It sharpens responsiveness up and makes the car "feel" snappy, lighter and more responsive. And you are right - everyone should have one.... as in reality, every car should have a SPORT button from the factory!

All these do is make 60% throttle input on the pedal equal to 100% throttle. That is it.
Don't get fooled otherwise. Just drive your car harder and save the money.

Google is your friend - having said that though, there are a heap of very reputable e-bay stores selling them.. so try there as well.
