Wholesale/Retail Parts Question

Everytime I call BMW, they ask wholesale or retail, is there any way we can get the wholesale price or do we need some sort of special license...

My pricing is flexible and i'll give wholesale but I don't think you want to pay for the freight charges from 808.

OK Pacific 264.35, 235 from Circle and Moorstown is 248. I use moorstown a lot because I never get charged tax or shipping and it gets here within about a week from NJ to CA. Go online and use thier websites, I have never called so I couldn't tell you

We Americans are averse to haggling, and many times pay way too much for things. My hunch is it just leads to overcharging everywhere for everything. Sometimes getting a so-called "wholesale" price is a matter of asking. Some plumbing supply house gave me the "contractor discount" on an Elkay sink when I was getting a new counter-top--sure, the price was lower than say Home Depot, but it was ridiculously high. Sometimes getting a discount means making 3-4 phone calls, something that we often don't feel like doing anymore. Like getting a discount on a diamond engagement ring, without the GIA lab report.....

<------ reason why I price seek so hard and I know that its really hard to get a good price on things these days...

No one likes getting ripped off, but if we get a good deal, we tend to stay with the brand...that why I don't think I'll ever buy a Lexus...though for some reason my parents LOVE the brand...
