Auto Club Speedway parade lap June 10th sign-up...

Put your name below if you would like to drive on the Grand Am course at the end of the day. It's not often that you'll get to drive on part of one of the fastest NASCAR track.

This will be lead/follow, at least four full laps.
Instructors will be available to ride with you, but won't be required.
THERE WILL BE NO PASSING.
THERE WILL BE NO LAGGING BEHIND SO YOU CAN DRIVE FAST TO CATCH UP.
The speeds will be low but not boringly slow.
Technically speeds will be at the top threshold of where helmets aren't required, but, I think I would be happier if people wore helmets. We'll have some to lend out.
You will have to sign the pesky waivers.
There will be a brief classroom session before the track session.
Since it's parade laps, any licensed driver, even minors, is okay.
If there aren't enough convertibles to fill this group, we can add in non-convertibles at the end of the line.

We can ask to stop for photo-op at the end near start and finish. There will be instructor "pace" cars sprinkled through-out to ensure speeds do not exceed or gap does not increase to allow for top speed runs on the front straight.

I'll be collecting a list of names here to give to the event organizer on-site so she'll know who to actually let on track. You can come out and spectate for free, but the parade lap will be $15.
