Sandpaper help!!!
I have some slight curb rash on one of my wheels, it's only on the very edge of the lip and not that bad. I can fix it by sanding and polishing since the part that has the rash is machined, not painted. I've been looking for an assorted sandpaper pack that has grits in the range of 150 that progress to around 1500. I've only seen one but they don't state the type of paper it is. Sanding metal requires aluminum oxide OR silicon carbide sandpaper. Can anyone please direct me to where I can get some type of assorted sandpaper pack that ranges something like 150, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1500? |

Clean the damaged area with PrepSol and then sand the scratched or damaged area with Norton 3X Sandpaper (p-graded aluminium oxide grain) 60, 80 and finishing with 100 grit sand paper, sand wet or dry with a rubber sanding block.

You don't need a pack with a dozen different grits for this task. Just go to your local hardware store and get 2-3 different grits, the 5-sheet packs should be about $4/ea.
