E92 starting problems

Hi guys, I got a 2007 E92 which is havin trouble starting. When the fob is put in and the clutch depressed, press the button and all that happens is ignition lights come nothing from the engine.
It started doing this a while ago but seem to sort itself out until yesterday.

Could this be a starter motor or immobiliser problem ?

Any one else had trouble with this ?

Thanks in advance.

Could be the switch on the back of the clutch pedal playing up.

Not 100% sure but the inhibitor switch might be on the upper part of the pedal or in the hydraulic system itself, get your head up under the dash and have a look.

EDIT... It looks like it mounted on the clutch master cylinder somewhere and works off pressure in the hydraulic system.

I'm only suggesting a possible problem Scud, I don't want to send you up the wrong path.

Not sure if this is much help as my cars an auto but I had an issue once where i freaked out as my car was not starting with the brake pressed down, same thing as u say ignition just came on. Turns out I wasnt pressing the brake pedal down far enough for the sensor thing to trigger.

So I have a feeling creepy coupe could be right with regards to it being a faulty/loose switch.

That's very possible, my misses always seems to have the problem including today. So I came home from work went to where she left the car and it started first time.

I do think there maybe something going on there tho because the fuse has gone for the climate control again.... Which I think is due to the light in the boot but will check tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys.
