Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of getting a jack, spare tire, and a tire wrench to put in my trunk. I currently have a staggered setup on the car 255/30/19 in the rear and 215/35/19 in the front.

My question is should I get a full size spare or just a donut? And what size of tire, rim/donut should I get? Is there a kit that bmw offers?

just go to any parts store and pick up the air pump in case you need to pump the tire to get to your destination or the nearest garage. Some people prefer the glue but I havent used so I dont know.
Theres no way I would even consider putting a spare and carry extra weight in the car.. or thats because I have E93 and even if I wanted to, it wouldnt fit.

I carry a bottle of slime & pump in my trunk.. I've not used it yet on my car, but have on my wife's SUV (couldn't be bothered to put on the spare), and it works brilliantly!

Apparently works for up to 2 years, but probably best to take it in and get a real repair ASAP, especially since the slime might put the tire out of balance.

After using the slime/sealant, can the tire still be patched up at a tire shop or is a new tire required?

Slime just washes/wipes out .. so the tire can be repaired permanently.

The tire repair person might not be happy about it, but c'est la vie!

First of all , your tire sizes are out of whack. Front should be 225 . I went 235 front and 265 rear...could fit 275 without rub I think. I carry Conti flat kit and pray a lot. I think RFT is absolutely ridiculous. I don't see the logic.
