Has anyone added tint to their factory tinted windows?
I'm taking the X3 in to get the windows tinted and I'd like to go a little darker on the rear door and hatch windows. They've got factory tinting which I would guess to be roughly 50% tint.
I'd like to either add tint to these (which would mean that I'd have to have an appropriately matching tint for the front door windows) or just tint the front door windows to match the factory tint. Has anybody done either of these? If so, what % tint did you use? |

What I'm trying to accomplish is having the front windows and the rear windows appear to have the same shade of tint. Since the rear windows have privacy tinting from the factory they should appear darker if you use the same tint all the way around, which is what I'm trying to avoid. So I would think I'd need to do something like 20% on the fronts and 30% (or something) on the rears. |

Yeah, reducing the rears might work, although don't forget even the front windows are solarized green glass, your 20 on the front be as dark as the rears ironically...

Yup ... 30% front and rear
I believe mine are 30% front and rear, which looks awesome on a white car with 20" black lenso rims. I'll try and get some photos in the next few days and post them up.
