What type of AMP Should I use?

I want to add one 12" kicker subwoofer to my Logic 7 factory system. I was gona use kicker amps but they have 300-500 watts. Im not sure how much do i need to run a 12' sub without troubles. Any idea??

Depends on a few things really. What type of 12' sub (what model) and specs? also a mono block 300-500 watt RMS rated amp will absolutely give you more than you need as far as bass on a stock internal stereo system.

300-500 RMS on a single 12" speaker will make your mirrors useless at anything higher than low volume. If you're not upgrading the entire system then 200 RMS will probably be more than enough.

in that case i'd recommend a 2 channel amp
2x200
so he can try with one channel
if he;s happy leave it at that
if he feels its too low
he can bridge both channels and give it 400w

Thanks for the info. Btw, I found this amp Alpine - 500W Class D Mono MOSFET Amplifier with Adjustable Crossover. What u think guys??
