Watkins Glen

Hi,

I am going to Watkins Glen next week for tracks with my friends and family.

By the time we are in the tracks, our family members doing nothing.

Do anyone know any nearby attraction / nice place to visit / place for BBQ / place to scene?

Watkins Glen is at the southern tip of Seneca Lake. Travel up the the east side of the lake and hit wineries, the east side has what many consider to be the best growing conditions making the wines better.

The finger lakes are a very scenic area of upstate NY. Rochester and Syracuse are fairly close by. For something a little more charming, Ithaca is known for waterfalls and gorges.

+1, it's about 20 minutes or so and the town (especially Market St) is nice. Actually, everything is probably a 20 minute (or more) drive from there but will be very scenic.
