EAS sent me the wrong iPod MOST

Hey guys, i'm need some advice. I ordered a iPod MOST kit for my 2007 335xi (idrive) a few weeks ago from EAS, today I received it and it's part #65110439425 which is for 5/6 series models, not the 65110439429 for the E9X.

The package contains the same alpine interface box (part #65410411033), but doesn't include the cable to connect to the idrive and 3 other cable connectors required to do the install in my 2007 idrive e90. Is there any chance the dealer can sell me the missing parts separately? I checked on realoem.com and I couldn't find individual part numbers, only the complete kits.

EDIT: BTW I'm not trying to be negative towards EAS, they've been fantastic in my experience with them, i'm just not sure what to do since i'd rather buy the missing parts rather than send it back and wait for a replacement.

Why post a thread? Just wait for them to get back to you and they'll take care of it. They are a reputable vendor.

Sorry i should have specified I live in Canada, so i'm wondering more if duty/customs fees are refundable in this scenario. I received the package via UPS.

I'd also much rather buy the missing parts from my dealer, i don't mind the extra cost if they would actually sell them, but i'm sure if i call the parts department they'll probably try to sell me on a whole kit seeing as I can't find specific part numbers. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this.

I wouldn't post a thread on this because it's like you're badmouthing EAS, and they're a really reputable company. I'm sure the two of you can privately work out something to cover any fees involved and get you the correct cable you need.

I agree, and it wasn't my intention. Any way I can delete this thread?
