Thumbs down Really....cant fit golf clubs in the e90 trunk?

As the title states.....BMW really failed on this one. Considering 3-series are often targeted for "young professionals" I honestly cannot believe that I am unable to fit my Driver and 3 wood in my golf bag in the trunk. I have to take those two clubs out (the longer ones) in order to make them fit. Weak.

Too bad the rear seats don't fold down, otherwise it would be perfect.

I'm going to try to fit mine tomorrow, I forgot i have never tried to fit them. Sounds off topic but how tall are you as clubs could be longer because you are taller

Rear seats do fold for me but would prefer to keep them up

I have fit mine in there without taking any out of the bag. However, it took some major adjusting to get them to finally fit in there. So I just take the driver out now, and it's easy.

I have a full set with a 46" driver and a descent size stand bag and mine fits. If I want to fit two I do have to take drivers out.

i didn't think mine fit at first into an 07 e92 without folding down the seats, but i found one angle that they do fit comfortably. I was pretty amazed at first too that my clubs weren't fitting easily.

My driver is a Taylor Made R9. Standard length. Im also using a Callaway warbird bag.

They do fit...when the driver is taken OUT of the bag. Slightly annoying for a $50k car...that's all.

This.

Golf clubs fit in the trunk. I have to put mine on an angle, though.

Not a golfer, but I do fish and my 8' two-piece surf rod goes in the trunk if I angle it just right.

OP, not sure what "standard length" clubs are, but my clubs fit fine. Try tipping the bag so the club heads go in first into the corner closest to the rear lights, then fit the base of the bag in. I do it all the time in my e90.

i'm really dissapointed about the folding seats not being standard. the cheapest honda has folding seats, hell they fold like 6 different ways! (honda fit, don't quote me lol)
finding a 3 with the cold weather package in socal is .. impossible?

Two bags fit fine in the trunk at an angle, from my experience.

i have coupe and my bag fits without unfolding the rear seats. but driver and wood heads rest against the wall so I usually take mine out. I don't want to risk snapping $500 shaft. I also carry 5gallon bucket with cleaning supplies at all time.

I have the same problem. I just deal with taking the driver out now. Funny though they fit in my e46.

Also re: $50k car... Try fitting em in a Ferrari. Just sayin!
