Vorsteiner wheels?
Are these quality wheels? Have the opportunity to pick up a set of cs01's dirt cheap. (similiar to something almost like a CSL styled wheel) Are they strong? Are they decent wheels?
Any information would be appreciated Last edited by e92stance; 04-19-2011 at 06:27 PM.. |

Thanks for the thread Jack MAC!!! Nah its all good, you guys are amazing so by all means speak to the crowd here! lol Let me clarify for a second here......I know that Vorsteiner products are (from what I hear) quality, but over-priced and hit hard with the "BMW tax". Ive also heard and seen some instances where their trunks fit like shit and they put out some ricey ass wide-body garbage. But hey, nobody is perfect right?
I was trying to see if they had these wheels made for them by another company, or if they manufactured them in-house. You know what Im saying? Its like we all know that Movado makes Gucci watches (if you are a collector like myself) and I know that Movado's are garbage....with that being said, I wouldnt consider buying a Gucci watch....Same concept here. You guys seem to understand things better on here when broken down into quasi-ghetto-guido-like scenarios and terms! lol jk (but not really). So really I was just wondering if these wheels were made by some replica producing company and labeled as Vorsteiner....thats all guys! Hey Derek, if you can do better then $850 for a brand new set let me know. I also know they MSRP for $1500, seems like a good deal to me, let me know if you can beat that. OP I've seen them in person. They were just powder coated a nice metalic/charcoal finish (don't know the exact name but thats what it looks like). Beautiful wheels!

i think the original post is talking about the cast wheels that vorsteiner start selling about a year ago. (1200-1500 retail for a set)
OP - Does it come with tires ??? nonetheless those wheels are hot especially the gunmetal version of it |

Man....I have to come prepared when Im dealing with you guys huh? lol sorry for correcting but yeah Im pretty sure that they are the cast one piece wheels, and Derek, I know the wheels you are thinking and hell yeah, they are dough!
so back to my corrected original question......Are the Vorsteiner (yes authentic) cast-one piece CS01 wheels a good wheel? Is it the same as any other cast wheel or should I consider it superior bc it is a Vorsteiner product? I have VB3's now (which came with the car) love them, but want something a little different and a bit nicer. |
