Shift Paddles for E90 330i/328i/325i possibility?

shift paddles for e90 330i/328i/325i possibility?

I use the steptronic quite a few times on highway and at higher speeds on street. Would love the option to have the paddles on the steering wheel. Has this been done, due to the technicalities, is it possible? and easier than very difficult?

How about changing to a 335i steering wheel with paddles ??

I am tech savvy but correct me if I am wrong. Wouldn't it be as simple as licking the same switches of "+"(plus) and "-"(minus) on the tranny to the two shift paddles ?

word has it you need a whole new steering column and its not that simple search it..
