Passenger side rear mirror not tilting when backing up

as title states tilt feature on the side mirror when backing up is not working.. is there a setting on the idrive or no? please help thanks..

This is probably kind of silly, but have you tried to slide the adjust mirror function to the left? It wont work if it's in the right slot.

you have to make sure the button is on the left i believe then your passenger side , side view mirror will tilt when in reverse

Just to file away for the future when your trunk does not open....

There's a switch in the glove box that got moved over to valet mode.
